The RAR Association of NSW may collect personally identifiable information such as name, postal address, telephone number, email address, institution affiliation, credit card number, or date of birth through various activities of the Society. This personal information is collected and used by the Association to facilitate a relationship or business transaction.

Email

The Association does not sell or rent email addresses to other organisations. The Association may generate email for the following types of communication:

1. Transactional email, which is the result of a business or membership transaction initiated with the Association.

2. Relationship email, which is sent as an informational service because of a relationship with the Association.

3. Correspondence from the Association as a result of a communication initiated by a member or customer.

Non-personal Information

Non-personal information is collected behind the scenes by the Association’s web server and is used to compile general website usage statistics or facilitate access to restricted website services. Such information includes:

• Locations visited on the website
