ROYAL AUSTRALIAN REGIMENT 60th ANNIVERSARY COMMEMORATIONS 2008.

BACKGROUND In 2008 the Royal Australian Regiment will mark its 60th Birthday on Sunday 23rd November 2008 having formed on that date in 1948. The RAR Association (NSW ) is working towards a number of events that will highlight to the general public the Service and History of the Regiment during its 60 years of proud and dedicated Service to this Nation.
Whether you served in Korea or Iraq , if you are a former or serving member of the Regiment you are all invited. To take part in these events to mark your own Service during these years and Honour all those who fell while serving with the Regiment.
